with the upcoming buck limit reduction, i will no longer need a gun permit if i kill 2 bucks before gun season. or i may quit bow hunting. i want a refund on my recently purchased lifetime license.

Just as long as we agree on the majority my point has been made. Thanks Mr. Breath. :tu:Buzzard Breath":3ixivg1h said:Its sad when the appethetic majority just assumes someone else is going to fight their battles for them and remain silent.chris1976":3ixivg1h said:Sad when politics and the loud voice of the few envoke unwanted regulations on the many.
I don't. I personally think the majority don't care if it's two or three. They just want to be able to get out in the woods and hunt deer a few days a year. I am starting to believe that there are more people that are more passionate about reducing the limit than there are people wanting it to stay the same. Myself, I really don't care. I do 90-100% of my deer hunting out of state or on WMA's that are more restrictive than statewide seasons. Deer just seem to act more like what I think deer should act like when there are more bucks around.Mike Belt":rxj1trhf said:How do you know it was the majority?

Aside from that there's always the possibility rules and regulations could change anytime down the road. The license was a contract from the state of Tn that allows the holder the right to hunt under current management laws without further purchasing any other license and not limited to what those laws or regulations were at the time that license was purchased. However, if the hunter was under the pretense of the "status quo" limits and they changed before he could make use of that license...?

If its 1 I will make sure I kill the one I want to put my tag on. If its 20 I might kill an extra buck or two but not likely. I do wish they would lower the doe limit here though. I believe the chart had Lewis Co. with a 75-80% buck harvest! The does have been pounded in to the ground here!

You bought a lifetime license solely because you could kill 3 bucks?

People also get counter sued for frivolous lawsuits and lose as well.
Yep as crooked as lawyers and politicians are today you'd probably have no trouble winning.TNDeerGuy":13dmlg1u said:stik, you seriously ought to call the TWRA office tomorrow and see what they say. People get sued over similar circumstances and win most of the time.

Hey Stik, with the wma's being bonus deer you can still kill around 5 or 6 bucks in east tn. and if you are like me, wma's and other public land is all I have to hunt and I average 3 to 4 deer a year here in Monroe county. If you ask a private land owner to hunt they look at you like they could kill you so the buck limit don't matter to me, I hunt public landstik":mmeof52m said:smalljawbasser":mmeof52m said:stik":mmeof52m said:i was being facetious but had the limit been 2 at the time, i wouldn't have bought it.

solely? no but to cover all 3 seasons. with a 2 buck limit, i may not need a gun license or may quit bowhunting completely.
