Has to be one of the worst post ever on Tndeer and you should apologize in my opinion. I have been hard on the TWRA a few times and I still disagree with some things they do and the way some regs are written (more strongly than you do about the buck limit) and I for sure do not agree with one of the main guys. But for the most part I DO support the TWRA and follow all the rules whether I agree with them or not, and overall they do a great job. The officers I talk to are great and work what seems like all the time. I don't have a lifetime license, I get a sportsman license every year, but I sure would not ask for money back because they made a change in a regulation. If you kill 2 bucks before gun season, why blame the TWRA? To me, that is part of being an adult, abiding by the rules and laws and if you disagee with them, then work to change them. Heck to me, if I was fortunate enough to kill 2 bucks that I wanted kill before gun season, I would be happy as I could be and get ready for the next year's season.
Apologize to who Brother? We as citizens foot the bill for TWRA. The big thing everybody says in being "pro" our higher license fees is the fact that we support TWRA in this state and have no outside govt influence unlike other states with lower license fees. Now I think TWRA does as good a job as any other wildlife agency but it is what it is. Stik and other East siders are DONE after they kill 2 bucks unless they can get to a place to kill does. DONE. He never said he wouldn't follow the rules. And as for the hunting experience..I enjoy hunting a lot. Id hate to just be done November 01 and "get ready for next season." The 2 buck limit makes no difference to me. Ive got 2 leases in Unit L counties and we have many does. I do drive 3 hours to get there but that's my choice. But apologize for his opinion and hard earned money he spent. Naw...I don't see it.
First, I am not your brother in any way.
Asking for your money back because of a regulation change that no matter which side you are on affects very few hunters. Also, from all the posts I am seeing from the East Tennessee guys it truly needs to be a 1 buck limit. All I see posted is that your deer population is low in East Tennessee and you want to kill more bucks?
I hunt in KY some and guess what, done after 1 buck. Not a big deal to me and would not be a big deal to be done in Tennessee after 1 buck even if no does were allowed to be killed. Greed is a bad thing.
Absolutely no problem. Ill be sure to NOT refer to you as brother again. I say that to many folks. Its not meant as derogatory or in a a hole way. But I see this in one or two ways.
1-you think Im being smart by saying brother..or
2-you just really have a nasty attitude.
either way I dont give a rats butt. Have a good one.
Nice reply since you don't "care".
Yep, sure took your post as being smart, rude, etc. I can guarantee you I would get a timeout or banned if I made the same post. For sure bashing of the TWRA.
