I have, but I suppose you suspect you're not missing anything if you hunt the woods or smaller fields. Love my Marlin. I've got one in 35 Rem, but I want to get one in 30-30, too. Of course, one in 444 Marlin would be nice, too. They're just good guns. Handle well and shoot straight with fast follow up shots, whether I'm shooting to the left, or right.

Gonna hunt with a Savage 110 that I put together. I got the action and stock by themselves and found a .30-06 barrel on Evilbay. Seems to shoot pretty good with handloads. Good luck to everybody.

Since moving out of IN where rifles are not allowed, (well they are now, in pistol caliber) this has been my exact same rifle of choice.
