Polar Bear came to town killed two residents of Whales AK and neighbor shot and killed it this weekend .

I've read polar bears are the smartest of any of the bears and will study you and hunt you down. I'm glad they don't live here.

my wife taught school in Barrow Alaska. The only time they did not have recess was when polar bears were on the playground

The Polar bears don't have a lot contact with humans to fear them……..they look at us as food source. Yes Barrow and the Bear Alarm Siren they sound when a bear walks into town. We had 13 grizzlies one year killed around Fairbanks and 2 people killed at Chena Lakes and a pack of wolves that came thru and killed pet dogs. Here at my house I have guns ready for bears shoot on sight…………..too many children in the neighborhood for a bear or wolf to roam thru.
