Looks like the odds of me having plums this year will be, just like last year. They bloom too early!!
Yep I've not had any in several years because of the early bloom/late freeze.

We can expect a few freezes before this winter is over. Late March into early April don't look good.
That means no plums again
Long range forecast ? Jet stream wobble?
My blueberry bushes will be in full bloom by next week. Have buttercups that have been blooming for nearly 2 months & starting to fade away

Stratospheric warming event over northern Canada. This often results in a big surge of cold air coming out from under this event in 4-6 weeks. Peak of the warming was late February, so look towards late March and the first week of April for the cold snap that should come from this.

Always keep an eye on the pecan trees. They are supposed to be best indicator when the fear of frost had passed

Our peach and pear trees all bloomed over the last couple weeks. Hate it happens, but guess that's Tennessee weather.
Everything I've got except apples have bloomed, and my crabapples did.

Just got home, and noticed my crabapple and also some of my apple trees have started blooming.
22 degrees this morning. Hopefully didn't do much damage. My pears will be fine but not sure about plums and peaches.

24 at our place. I'm usually an optimist on these kinds of scenarios with a random late frost. Multiple frosts will definitely do damage for sure. Hoping for the best!
29 here, believe most stuff will be fine. Did cover up young strawberry plants. Very little frost

Saw 20 degrees when I checked this morning at Loretta Lynn's. That will do some damage.
May apples are 5-6" tall now
