These are a couple of my plots. I am new to food plots and the hard work might be paying off.
Perennial clover plot. This was planted last fall, I have mowed it a few times and fertilized about a month ago. I disked the edge and planted wheat, just to see how it does:
plot 2- planted 3 weeks ago. Mixture of wheat, oats, chicory and perennial clover that I hope comes up strong in the spring.
Because of a slight slope and dry weather the second plot came up really good on the edge and in the shaded area where the ground held better moisture. I am hoping some of it comes up better on the left side of the pictures with the rain we have in the forecast for next week.
