Food Plots Sowing an already established clover plot.

I know I should have frost seeded during the winter or even when we had our only snow. But I didn't.

Is there any benefit to sowing over it now? I plan to mow over the top of it once it gets taller here soon to help germinate.

Last year it was super thick and very little weeds and grass. Just trying to help it as much as I can to stay as thick as possible.

Only thing it'll hurt is your check book but I'd just hit it with a 0-20-20 and keep it mowed. Looks great in my humble opinion . Maybe seed it next year.

I agree with @TNTreeman, your money would be better spent on pell lime, fertilizer and a round of spray or a couple mowings.
Actually plot looks good and clearly the critters like it!

Several years ago I bought clover seed early and missed some opportunities to frost seed. In mid April we had a week of wet weather in forecast so I rolled the dice & "rain seeded" it. I was amazed how good it did, but stars were aligned that year and summer was wetter than normal.
I agree that yours looks fine so just hit with fert & spray as needed.

Supposed be a hard frost the middle of this next week, but I agree with the others, looks good and I wouldn't waste the money on over seeding it now. Hit it with fertilizer and lime, and maybe spray later on.
