Been working on this plot for the past month or so. Trying to get lime down soon. Ph is about 5.5 right now. Any suggestions for getting a good crop this coming fall?

it drains pretty good. been raining a pretty good bit here lately so its fairly wet in those pics. its on a ridge though and drains pretty good normally.

Looking Good. I'd say Lime and seed w/ rye and clover/chickory mix. The rye should provide a fall "Nurse" crop and the clover will come up but will establish itself the spring after, when the rye dies off. IF you wanted to sow something before then, you could sow buckwheat in May and then sow rye in Aug.-Sept.

2nd buckwheat crop. will be planting rye, oats, clover mix for the fall.
