If you plant wheat say next weekend can you legally hunt turkeys over it in the spring? Didn't know if it being out of normal ag season dates mattered if it were planted or would it be baiting?

If it is outside of the normal ag planting dates it could be considered baiting.If it has sprouted by the time it is hunted over, it wouldn't be an issue. But, if there is unsprouted grain there would be issues.
Sounds like a bad idea to me unless having the wheat is more important than being able to turkey hunt within 250 yds of the spot.
