I'm not sure I've ever seen such a heavy set of peas.

I think I'll be picking Sunday.

The deer picked (and ate) my peas (and green beans and okra) for me this year! I did manage to get two pickings of peas from my 3 rows before they wiped them out in two days last week so I have a few bags frozen for the winter, but I didn't even get the first pod of okra or green bean this year.

Hopefully I can stock up from my uncles and aunts in west TN - they always have more than they can use.

I normally have an electric fence around my garden, but I was going to move my garden to a new area this spring so I took it down last fall. With our crazy weather this spring I didn't have a chance to break the ground in my new spot and get it ready so I just planted in my old spot and hoped I could get by without being wiped out. One morning last week I had 4 yearling bucks out there chowing down at once!
