If I get to go will probably take my 6.5 creed custom rifle I built with a ballistic advantage barrel, running eld x handloads. Scope is a nikon monarch 4-12x42 bdc.

Performs great on paper, looking forward to seeing how it does on deer.

For the first time last year, I took something other than my trusty ol Remington Model 710 in 30-06, my Winchester Model 70 in 300WSM. Killed a good 10 pt with it even. But tomorrow I'll be taking the 06 back to the woods again, like an old friend, gonna be good to spend a little time with it, and hopefully can kill another good one with it. Handloads using AA 4350 over Nosler 150 gr Accubonds.

If I get to hunt it will be with a Remington in .257 Roberts. Last year I hunted with my 6mm rem and the year prior was with my .264 WM. I really like odd calibers and try not to hunt with the same rifle each year although I really like the .257 and find myself spending more time with it than the others.

Ruger American in 6.5. Hunting an area that has decent openings. Afternoon will probably be a thicket with the trusty Marlin 336 in 30-30.
