Beautiful...... what kind? Who made it ?
The rifle is a .54 cal made by the late Tip Curtis of Cross Plains Tn.
It has an Pete Allen lock that has been very fast & dependable and a 42" Colerain radius bottom groove barrel.

My normal target & hunting load is 70 grns of Goex fffg pushing a hand cast .530 round ball.

It's a Tip Curtis made cylinder bore 16 gauge 44" Colerain barrel & L & R lock..

The .54 has a 42" barrel..

They're both a lot of fun too shoot!
