Not Bad For A Pond Bass

Not a lot of bites during early spring, but the ones that did were well worth the slow day. I pulled this guy out of a very small farm pond weighing right at 10lbs give or take.

read 10lbs but when empty it stops at about half a pound from 0 so i only know he is right in the area

I understand! I was wondering if you weighed it or just guessed. I keep a digital scale that I tested from 1 ounce to 50 pounds in my boat and truck (when turkey hunting) at all times so I'm a little OCD about it. I see people all the time post 5 pound bass that weighed 8 pounds (even though they don't own a scale!).
