Not a lot of bites during early spring, but the ones that did were well worth the slow day. I pulled this guy out of a very small farm pond weighing right at 10lbs give or take.

Nice bass in any water! I'm curious though, what does this mean "weighing right at 10lbs give or take"?

read 10lbs but when empty it stops at about half a pound from 0 so i only know he is right in the area

I understand! I was wondering if you weighed it or just guessed. I keep a digital scale that I tested from 1 ounce to 50 pounds in my boat and truck (when turkey hunting) at all times so I'm a little OCD about it. I see people all the time post 5 pound bass that weighed 8 pounds (even though they don't own a scale!). :D
