Non typical wildlife solutions

Anyone ever used a nontypical wildlife solutions electric fence to protect their fruit tree orchard?Ive got that stuation and I wanna try it.I have cageson them that would protect them during the time there is fruit,but want an extra level of protection during the other months.The kit with the solar panel is $400.Anyone have any advice?

I don't know anything about that brand in particular but did a Google search for Soalr Pwered Electric Fences and found these cheaper models.

I've never used a solar fence but have used several 110Volt models on the farm for cattle fences. I wouldn't expect deer to be very aggressive once they get 1 or 2 shocks so shouldn't require a strong fencer. Your problems will be weeds grounding out the wires if this is to be used in a place you won't be able to check often. In your favor though is the fact that you already have cages around the trees so just need a high wire or two to zap those wet noses that try to poke around in the branches. Obviously, the higher from the ground you place the wire, the less trouble you'll have with weeds.
