Yep... I am in Cleveland and it isn't but about a 15 min drive. Tough hunting but Turkeys are there.

Welcome to TN and TNDeer. I'd start by getting a hunting guide to learn the regs and also look at the list of WMAs available to hunt. There's some good public land to start out on, and I'm sure you'll be able to find a farm to hunt eventually as well.
