I love planting new ground!

I've worked this ground off and on since April. It's at an aunt's property three miles away, so I wanted to plant something that doesn't require attention every day I'm off. I've held off planting until I saw a realistic chance of rain (I don't have water here). Yesterday was the day!

This was a horse pasture for almost 25 years. I'm curious to see what the soil sample says, two different soils on different ends (not uncommon though).

Buttercup, Butternut, Acorn, and Spaghetti squash. And another 1200' of Top Pick puplehulls. :)

Come on rain!
