Alabama is set to make an outside hire for its head baseball coaching position.

I'm excited to see how he does. The SEC is pretty tough.
I'm glad they're keeping Jason Jackson on the staff. I thought he did a great job as the interim coach.

Saw that yesterday. If I heard right he won the Big 10 the last two years. Time will tell.

Knowing nothing other than how they did after the fiasco, I'd have given it to the interim guy.

I thought he handled the interim job really good also. I kinda thought he would get the job.
I'm not sure if he was considered or not but he's still going to be on the staff as associate head coach and the pitching coach.
