I have located a group of birds on public land, but no matter what I do I can't get one of them to mess up. It's a group of 3 hens and 2 toms. Calling seems pointless so I have been setting up in different positions trying to "cut them off" on their daily trail. I think I know were they roost and fly down but whenever I switch it up they do too. I got one shot at 40 yards today and missed, I think I pulled my head up in hopes to see a flopping turkey. So now I've spooked them too
Needless to say, I am inexperienced and would appreciate any tips.
