With rain in the forecast for a few days I figured it was time to get some more seed in the ground. Overseeded a couple plots I'd done last week and cut in a couple new ones around the corn field. Winter rye, oats and clover. All the things my deer love. Got rained on a couple hours after finishing.

I know I'm crazy but I go by the Almanac. I planted about 5 lbs of turnips and collards today bc it was a good day for it. Next weekend is good for grains . I'll be planting about 8 acres.

Agreed.

Although last two model runs (GFS) had rain for West TN Friday and Saturday next week. We shall see.
I've been watching that on AccuWeather for 3-4 days now. Their long range seems to be better than their short range imo.

Still doing prep work at our place.

Be thankful, dust bowl in Wayne Co. Having to clean outer air filter on tractor twice a day when disking
