Millenium stand?

At first, I thought you were asking about the merits of a lock-on stand which are many.

I hear great things about a millennium stand however I've never hunted from one. I'm tempted to try out the M25.

Just ordered the M150 yesterday. I have an API grand slam and a big game brand that get uncomfortable after a few hours so I thought I would try a more expensive one that's marketed for comfort.

Hunted out of the M100 for the past two seasons. Sold my Summit Viper this year because I have used it exactly 2 times since I bought the Millenium. Love it, also get a few extra receivers and you can have multiple setups. Love the Millenium.

If you're tall get the new M150. The M100 seat height is 17" and I feel slightly cramped in mine. I'm 6' 2". The new M150 has adjustable seat height from 17" up to, I believe, 21". That would work better for me. The new M150 is heavier, though. Check out the differences between the M100 and the M150 on the Millennium website.

Other than my legs being slightly cramped in the M100, I love it. The seat just flat out rocks.

One great thing I guess is I hear they are made in the USA!!!!

Negative. Millennium stands are currently made in China.

See Lone Wolf, Treewalker (made in TN), Timbertall, Guido's Web, Summit (only the Summit aluminum treestands), and a few other lesser known brands for made in USA.

It comes with the chain receiver, but either will work with this stand. All of mine are the chains and they work well, sometimes they can be tricky to get as tight as I like them, but they work.

I have an m100 in the box in my garage awaiting me to hang it on a tree. I sat in it for a few min on display at BP (yeah I know your not supposed to but it was rite there just inviting me to). I can't wait to try it out.

I got an M25 stand. Had it outside for a day and it got some rust. Emailed the company and they replaced it very quickly. Great customer service.

Sat in it and it was very comfortable.

Very comfy and light stand but BE CAREFUL. ALWAYS put a 2nd strap on the bottom of the stand where the platform contacts the tree. This stand has a very narrow neck at this point and it WILL kick out from the tree without a 2nd strap!

Very good point. I retrofitted my M100 with the same modifications that this guy did. Adding that strap to the bottom made it rock solid.

I have the orginal Millenium. I agree the seat is very comfortable. Also very hard to get out of and stand up without a lot of movement. I have an extra chain on bracket but never used. I have had difficulty on certain trees with this stand.
If under 6 feet tall, the seat is so tall against the tree that some bow shot angles are restricted. Some of these items may have been fixed with the newer models.

I like the Summit raptor series hang on with the Talon bracket. That is the fastest mounting system I have ever seen. And the stand platform adjusts for crooked trees. I have 5 of these and they are superb.

The new monster has an adjustable seat for this exact problem

I've hunted out of the ladder stand and it was the most comfortable stand I've ever sat in. Only drawback is the price tag on them but worth it when you're not flinching every second because your buttis numb and/or your back aches.

The M150 arrived today. Looks solid as a rock with a huge platform. Same receiver bracket as the M100 except this one has a ratchet strap instead of a chain. As soon as the rain stops I'll strap it to a telephone pole in the yard and give a comfort report.
