Looking for sturgeon Info.

I'm looking to go after a TN sturgeon this winter for a quick catch and release. I live in East TN and needing some info on a few places to try this winter. Please PM any info. Thanks

Hooked one around this time last year on Old Hickory. Two weeks before I watched a guy catch one in the same creek mouth.

They have been stocking them in the Cumberland River in Nashville for many years. Some are getting some real size to them.

Their skin feels like sandpaper.
I caught one in my life, 42" on the Wisconsin River walleye fishing.

I snagged two by accident swinging a big flare jig underneath OH dam for rockfish. They must have been thick. Both hooked in the pectoral fin.

Son caught a couple in French Broad River between Douglas Dam and Knoxville. Few years back, biggest was 27" I think.
