Kentucky lake Winter bass fishing

As the water temps dip below 50 degrees what are some typical techniques/presentations on Kentucky lake. I have never fished it in December and January. Thanks

Swim baits,spinner baits,a rig, crank baits and of course a jig. All on ledges.

This is by no means the only way to catch them just the way I prefer.

What water depths would you target? Are you mainly focusing on ledges on the main river channel?

I'm not a bass fisherman,I fish for crappie all year long though.This last weekend I caught 4 good bass on structure at the bottom of a drop using a crappie jig with a 1/8 jig head.Water temp in the low 50's,fishing KY lake.

Oh and depth they came from was 21fow and 15fow.

15-25' is the range I find produces for me. At these depths I can scan them without spooking them. That's the main reason I fish the way I do. I don't fish unless I know there there.
