I was looking at Calendar will it open November 2nd 2024. Making plans with big brother already lol.
I am trying to figure out muzzle for next season

If they follow the standard practices, it will open the next weekend, the 9th (which is the latest it can open using the current system, and I hate those years). MZ season opens two weekends before gun opens. Gun opens the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is always the 4th Thursday of November. In years where Nov. 1 falls on Friday or Saturday, Thanksgiving is a week later than in most years because of the 4th Thursday rule.

I was thinking that the 9th but was hopeful it was the 2nd, I agree with your date BSK.

If nothing changes from this year and if you were to get put in cwd zone it will open the day after the juvenile hunt, but rifle also opens.

When will we know for sure what changes and where if any.
I hope I never have to get my muzzleloader out again.

I have considered pulling the accura out and hunting with it during our season. I might still.

Muzzleloader season is my favorite. That's prime time in our area.
I'll hunt that time of year. But in unit CWD we've been hunting it with a rifle for years. Hope it stays that way.
