Howa Axiom 308 price

I know somebody trying to sell this rifle. He is asking 650. It is all black pretty much as far as I know. Had probably 40 rounds out of the tube. Since I dont know much about this line is 650 a fair price?

I've had Howa rifles in .308, .243, 30-06, and 7Mag, and they have all been great shooters.

The price depends on the package. You can buy a new Howa 1500 .308 for around $510 (with cheap scope) and a new axiom stock for $165 online. I've seen other packages from $675 to $850.

The prices on Howa rifles have just recently gone up, and they're not easy to find in a store.

This is it. 1200 as it sits. The scope is a 4.5-14 500mm.
The vx3(with the funny lense).

seems high for a howa. the weatherby vanguard is the same gun, save the stock and they can be had for less than 400.00 new from buds.

If it includes the scope then that is a good deal. I don't necessarily like the funky stock, but I know that package is not cheap. I'd be willing to bet it is a shooter, and if you like it then I would say that you would be getting a good rifle package for a more than fair price.
