I've been a handloader since '87 and load, .30-06,.308,8mm Mauser,.30-30,.223,.357 Magnum,.38 Spl. .22-250, .30 M1 Carbine. Its more than I planned. A couple i load for a friend. I deer hunt with mostly a .308 and sometimes .30-06 and 8mm.

I shoot custom tailored handloads in every firearm I use for everything,,except the rimfires of course.

Ditto except I don't load for my 32 Win Spcl. I have dies and brass, but I also have about 8 boxes of factory ammo for it as well.

Been handloading since 1974, Got several rifles that have never fired a single factory round. Every bolt gun I own will shoot sub MOA and if it don't and thats with bedding and trigger work and finding a good load, then I sell or trade them.

I load all my ammo, .243, 260, 7-08, 30-30, .270, 30-06, 7mm Mag, and .38 and 357 mag. Never had a missfire [knock on wood] For me it just adds to the sport of hunting and my ammo always has out shot the factory stuff.

I handload for everything no matter what the intended target is. But since my current deer rifle is a 257 Weatherby, I wouldn't consider factory loads because my bank won't loan me enough money to finance a box! :) It cost's nearly $30 a box to handload the Barnes TSX bullets on top of 73 grains of IMR 7828. Yeah, that's a ridiculously expensive bullet for deer but at those velocities, I figure I need it to not come apart on anything but a perfect broadside shot. Love that laser flat trajectory........

Yup. However, plain ole Core-Lokts from Wal-Mart never let me down when deer hunting.

Since 1984. 22-250 through 300 WIn Mag. No shotgun, no rimfire. Loaded for others-30-30, 270, 25-06, 300 Weatherby Magnum, 257 Weatherby mag. Loading for other people paid for my 'stuff'.

BTW, the reason I handload is Remmie core-lokts had (have?) some serious quality control issues. A zero'd Browning BBR was missing the entire target-falling short-and I lost total confidence.
