Nothing wrong with factory ammo if it shoots consistently in your gun. Reloading my own ammo is just something I do for my own satisfaction. I don't believe I save any money doing it but I do think I get better groups out of my guns with my own ammo.

For most, factory ammo works well enough but for the shock of your life, take a look at the number of recalls regarding factory ammo. And unless you happen to be looking, you'll never know.

My hand loads have never failed me. I match bullet type and weight to the animal I am hunting and that shoot accurately. Because I have 3 shooters in my Family hand loading makes a lot of financial sense.

It never happened to me until last year, ive always had great results with factory ammo. I bought 3 factory boxes of shells that i cant get to shoot worth a crap

I handload for everything no matter what the intended target is. But since my current deer rifle is a 257 Weatherby, I wouldn't consider factory loads because my bank won't loan me enough money to finance a box! :) It cost's nearly $30 a box to handload the Barnes TSX bullets on top of 73 grains of IMR 7828. Yeah, that's a ridiculously expensive bullet for deer but at those velocities, I figure I need it to not come apart on anything but a perfect broadside shot. Love that laser flat trajectory........

I shoot 100gr NBT over 73gr of 7828. Killed 9 or 10 ten deer with it aint had a problem with em comin apart.

Thats how I am, I enjoy the satisfaction of using my reloaded ammunition. Reloading to me is as much of a hobby as hunting.
