This year will be my 9th year. (I think) finally starting to learn a little. Thinking back I can't believe its been that long. I didn't start till college. Luckily I had some friends that got me interested. I've had an obsessed brother in law that's helped me since then. Thanks TNLarry!
 
This got me to thinking my first kill was a pigeon. He came flying out of the end of an old barn. I shot him with a single shot 410. I was 14 years old. I started shooting clay target with that same gun when I was 12. I was so proud you would have thought I had killed a world record animal.

This will be my 40th season! I missed getting to hunt for almost 8 years in the 1980's because of work, but I have made up for it the last 16. I am in the woods almost all of gun season and I pick and choose the days during bow season. Life is good!
 
Killed my first deer when I was 10. That was 24 years ago. Started hunting squirrels with my pellet gun around five or six yrs old.
 
I've been hunting 37 years and still love setting in the tree in the fall. What a great time of the year to be in woods.
 
This will be season 2. I was way more obsessed with fishing, 60+ days a year. Had a buddy convince me to give it a try. Still haven't got the first deer, but have good faith that all the work we put into our lease this year that it will come.
