How are ticks this Spring?

Went to Kentucky the first of March to shed hunting and the ticks were already
Attaching themselves to me.

As bad as I've seen them. If I wear clothes that I haven't treated in the woods there will be three or four on me when I get back. I forage for mushrooms and edibles so sometimes I go in the woods with regular clothes on and it's about automatic then.

This spring has been perfect for them. It's simple…just spray your clothes, boots and pack with permethrin and you're good. Spray them them day before and hang them up - good for 3 weeks. Especially spray around your ankles and butt

The ticks are as bad as I can remember this year. Picked 12 off my dog yesterday. I hate'em.

Pulled one off and didn't get the head out. Luckily I had a Dr visit and she was able to remove it. Was on antibiotics for 10 days. Have removed several all were lone star.

The areas I've traveled seem to have less ticks this year. I've only seen a couple and I've been in the woods quite a bit.
