Thanks for the welcome. I'm an Alaskan but I'll be spending winters in western NC. Since wherever I hunt I'll be buying a non- res license , I want to investigate NC , GA and TN since I'm really close to all 3 states.

I am exclusively a bowhunter. I run a moose hunting operation in remote Alaska and I travel extensively overseas to hunt.

I'd like to get hooked up with some good hunting opportunities for the period October through April- particularly for deer.

I'd like to learn about your state and make some contacts.

Welcome aboard. Spring (we will just say March-May) may bring you some opportunity for turkey. I find this takes some skill with a bow. There may be some opportunity for that. I think it would be interesting for opportunities for Alaskan moose.
