For some reason deer season messes up hog hunting? I think it is just the amount of people in the woods that gets them skittish. I had to stop hunting where I hunt due to the landowner allowing deer hunters. I didn't want my operation to mess up theirs. This time of you though after the deer have been shot, is prime hog time!

I've killed 43 since January 1. I won't be hunting them anymore until after deer season. Now that the mast has started falling, they have pretty much scattered out.
I was wondering if they eat Paw Paws. I found a BUNCH of them on my property and the pigs were no where to be found near my bait.

I would imagine so. Paw paws generally ripen in Mid Summer around here and are gone quick. I've got a lot of hogs coming in now so I'm assuming most mast in that area is gone. I believe I'll get after them tonight.
