This was shot earlier this week at a taped measured 40yds from tip of choke to target. This was the densest part of the pattern and was shot with Hevi-13 3.5" 2 and 1/4oz #7 shot. That will smoke any gobbler that walks easily at 50+ yds. There is 349 shot in the 10" circle. And yes those 7's have the power to kill a bird past 50yds very easily for those that think they are too small. This load will be a turkey killer.

Those 7's are bad medicine for any gobbler that walks even at longer distances where they think they are safe. If you can put 100 shot in a 10" circle at whatever the distance with this load and center it over a gobbler head he will die.

I forgot to say that 61% of the total payload in that shell was in the 10" circle at 40yds. That ain't bad.

I just got a star dot for my dads old mossberg with a 28" barrel.Can't wait to try the hevi 7 in it.
