Mossy Oak Burnt?

I've never felt more "stuck out like a sore thumb" than when I set up on this fellow but the Bottomland came through again. Walking out I stopped several times to study the "burnscape" and still don't know exactly how I got away without being picked off…just as black and clean as a highway all the way down through the timber.

Done for 2024.

Congratulations on the bird. Maybe you can submit a sample of "Mossy Oak Burnt". Toxey Haas might like it. :p

LOL Congrats! The 2 best camo patterns ever made were Mossy Oak Fall Foliage and Mossy Oak Forest Floor. Give me a pair of pants in each of those and a treestand or break up shirt and I can just plain become invisible around here.

My favorite patter was mossy oak break up it may have been called break up bottom land. It is shedded by briars and 15+ years of use. I don't think they make it anymore so I refuse to throw it away.
