Got out yesterday

Went yesterday for the first time since June 6. Didn't find a crappie, but did catch a few bluegill. Started out spider rigging and going to just enjoy some time doing something besides working on house stuff. Trolling motor batteries just about died after an hour. After 6 years I guess it was about time. Decided to go with the lithiums and Noco 3 bank charger and ordered them after lunch today from Impulse Lithium.Also got 15% off of batteries by being a member of Crappie.com. He told me I would probably get them tomorrow since he would get them out. Sure enough , email from UPS says should be here tomorrow. Pretty good deal - free shipping and fast service. I even cleaned and washed the boat today.

I bought a small Impulse for my pond boat a couple months ago after Bluball recommended them. So far so good.

I used to tell my brothers and sisters ,which are older than me, that I didn't think I would retire . They were all retired and never had time to do anything.
At least this house stuff is done except for the selling and buying another and moving. There goes the next 3 months of fishing.

Batteries were on my doorstep by 10 this morning. Impressive!
