Going old school for squirrel this year..

They are Rothco brand. They have the regular tiger stripe in poly/cotton, but their "vintage" line is 100 percent cotton. These are current manufacture, but supposedly same as their "contract" clothes from that era. The pants have a zipper, so not sure if that's 100 percent true. Thought they had a button fly.
Also, the blousing strings look different. I thought they were flat...these are round like 550 cord (not 550 cord though).

I hunted in some that looked like these. My dad got them in Vietnam. I was 9 or 10; I think mine was an adult (South Vietnamese) small.

Original "old school".

This makes sense, as I've read that the original "tiger stripe" was made by Vietnamese locals...and thats where the soldiers were getting them.

I used to wear the same thing squirrel hunting when I was a kid. I loved them after watching John Wayne in the Green Berets.
