We've not heard a gobble since opening weekend where I am in East TN.

Birds were hammering this morning. Well at least the 2 I heard and seen. About 1030 I looked behind my house and seen a gobbler and 2 jakes. Went back there at 5 on the tractor and soon as I got off he gobbled in the woods not far from me. I think they know this is the last day of season for KY lol

They were popping off Sunday morning. Called one for a guy. Who missed from 15 yds.

True story- I hunted 1 morning on Florida public land, 2 mornings on Kentucky public land, and 4 mornings on TN private lands. I heard many more turkeys in FL or KY in that short time than I heard the entire time in TN and that's on TN places that have always held birds. I still enjoy it, just don't get to go much anymore but it is at the point where driving the short distance to KY makes a lot more sense.
