Fixing to get real up in herra

Not sure how Saturday & Sunday will be with the big fronts / storms we have rolling in Thursday and Friday but next week is looking GOOD.
Gonna take off next week a couple days and go to KY lake and hit the backwater.
Target species will be crappie but I will be keeping my eye open for any bedding bream for sure.
I love this time of the year !

I almost believe I have missed the crappie here on Pickwick. With all the rain and winds we've had its been almost impossible to fish on the weekends. I was able to haul a couple nice blue cats in two weekends ago...I'm half tempted to just move on to cats at this point.

Oh I will.
Honestly we will be fishing 3 and 4 days prior to the full moon so I am hoping we land on some bedding bream.

Ruger, I do not about crappie on Kentucky Lake but the priest crappie have, for the most part, been done, as far as the shallow easy bite goes.

I am hoping they are done here too.
I want them schooled up out in open water so I can livescope snipe their arses.

Had a good bunch of bluegill out of Priest yesterday. 9" was the biggest and several of them.
