First Trumpet Call

Look what I purchased on EBay the other day. It is Tim Clayton�s 2nd place trumpet call from the Midwest competition. It is the first trumpet that I have owned and I will hunt with it this spring. I have never used a trumpet and have started practicing. I have been able to get a decent yelp but may need some help with the other vocalization. I own a few other box calls made by Tim and the craftsmanship is beyond reproach. Tim�s shop is not far from where I live and it is always a pleasure to visit with him. Stoner

thats the first one ive ever seen. dont think i would carry such a perty call out in the woods.

I think it is made out of a wing bone. I have made about 3 and they do sound good but hard to get to work right.

Very nice.
I just bought my first one yesterday at the NWTF show in Nashville. Mine is the laminated wood kind.
Can't wait to try it out on the real thing.
