Finally seen a deer, so i shot him!!!!

Haven't seen a deer all season and thought I wasn't going to this morning. So I got up and moved on out the logging road I was hunting beside. Walked maybe 100 yards and stopped to see if I could hear a anything, dead silence, then I hear something up to my left around 65-70 yards up on the side of the ridge, I look up and there was a buck dogn a doe. I shoulder my gun to shoot and he stops behind a tree. He finally stepped out and the 7mm-08 dropped him in his tracks. Game wardens said he was 2.5 years old. I'm finally on the board!!!
