Food Plots Fencing off trees and food plots

What do you recommend for fencing off fruit tree plantings and small food plots so they can grow some before the deer go after them?

I used an electric fence this year on my eagle beans and had 100% success.This coming year Im adding another fence to protect a chestnut planting,maybe an acre.There is a great thread on qdma site under plots called electric fence options I think is the name.

I use a solar charger and the inside fence is 12" and 36"(double wire) and the outside fence(electric rope)is at 24" and 3' away.-

They will tare fruit tree saplings to shreds...

No,they wont tear fruit trees up if they are inside a well designed deer fence.There is a great thread on the QDMA site under electric fences ,food plots.

One thing the fence will do is direct the deer where you want to go ifthey would normally go through it they now go around it.
