August 6-8th we will be camping, fishing, and having a great time. Saturday there will be a benefit tournament.

1st place - Wilderness Systems Ride 135 Kayak! (camo color)
Other prizes will be annouced later!

...REMEMBER 100% of the entry fees goes to Heroes on the Water!!!

A benefit tournament for Heroes on the Water will be held on August 7th, 2010. There is a $100 dollar entry fee (covers camping for three nights, dinner on Saturday, T-Shirt, and tournament entry). 100% percent of the entry fees will go to Heroes on the Water. Start time will be safe light and weigh in will be at 5pm.

Scoring has been changed for the SoHo River Raid Tournament August 7th.

Anglers will now be allowed to have a three fish limit (CPR). Any combination of the following species will be allowed.

Trout (Brook, Rainbow, Brown) - Score .9 points per inch
Black Bass (Spot, Smallmouth, Largemouth) - Score 1 point per inch
Striped Bass/Hybrid Bass - Score .6 points per inch

Examples - three 19 inch bass will score you 57 points
three 21 inch trout will score you 56.9 points
three 32 inch striped bass will score you 57.6 points

Heroes on the Water helps woundedwarriors relax, rehabilitate, and reintegrate through kayak fishing andthe outdoors.

Guided kayak fishing excursions, which include adaptive kayaks and equipment as needed, give soldiers an opportunity to hang out with other fishermen, take control of their world from the helm of their kayak, and learn the ropes of kayak fishing, a skill that lasts a lifetime.

Going to have the weigh in at Warriors Path State Park in Kingsport. You can fish any public water you want for the tournament.
