The lady friend and myself took a trip to Chattanooga over the weekend to fish with our good friend Sam at Scenic City Fishing Charters. We hit the water at 6:15 Saturday morning to catch some bass on Chickamauga Lake. It started off a little slow but about 7:30 it was on. We landed 20-25 largemouth with a couple of spots mixed in. The biggest one was caught by Sandy and was probably 4 lbs. We also caught a few cats while bass fishing so that was a plus for us. At 10:30 we loaded up the boat and headed down to fish below the dam. We ended up catching another 25-30 cats there. I landed a 20 lb 38.5" blue on light tackle under the dam. It was a battle to keep him off the concrete and out of the boils. If you are looking for a charter in the Chattanooga area, contact @rsimms and he will hook you up.
