Early Wood duck and Goose....

Never hunted up there.... Any public spots to hunt that doesn't require a boat? How's the hunting?

I am going to be on my brothers spot. He's gonna be on Reelfoot though. I might go to LA and get after a few if my buddy tells me there is a lot down there.

Our early season duck n goose starts mid sept....we typically jump shoot'em off pond until mid november

If i had to say anywhere right now i would say the holston river.. Ive been seeing a ton of birds over that way the last week.

Everybody has been chopping silage and mowing hay all about the same time so the birds are real spread out when it comes to field hunting

Seeing woodies and no teal, however had a friend who said he and his son took 7 teal. We took 2 1/2 limits of woodies, in Meigs Co.
