Grimes is applying for a medical hardship but I don't see the NCAA granting it.

Mullen was Emory's first and last offer. He always stayed in touch with him. He always liked UF but Mac and Nuss never offered. OSU will be fine in the QB department.... lol. Hope he is what UF has been looking for.

Another way to look at it. Rankings by blue chippers (to date):

T-1: UGA 18; Ohio State 18 (UGA wins tiebreaker with overall higher class rating to date)
3: Texas 17
T-4: Miami 14; Auburn 14
6: Alabama 13
T-7: Penn State 12; USC 12
T-9: LSU 11; Notre Dame 11
t-11: Clemson 10; ENTIRE BIG TEN WEST 10 (but Clemson wins tie breaker by virtue of their four 5*)

Yet another way to look at it. Blue chippers by division (to date):

1- SEC West: 51
2- Big Ten East: 46
3- SEC East: 42
4- Entire Big 12: 42
5- PAC 12 North: 26
6- ACC Coastal: 25
7- ACC Atlantic: 25
8- PAC 12 South: 19
9- Big Ten West: 10

Big Ten West is awful for a reason, but there's no way that the SEC East should be as bad as it is with all that FREAKIN' talent right there in the back yard. Obviously, UGA is changing that and the coaching hires elsewhere might change the on-field results further, but I'm sure SEC East would be in top 3 for blue chippers if you looked at 2017, 2016, 2015 classes.

We have had terrible coaching and play calling for last 8 yrs, worst records and worst defeats in 121 yrs, yet we have been in top5-15 th place in recruiting, sounds almost impossible

Coach Smart is assembling the foundation of a team with Uber potential. If he is as good a coach as myself, and the rest of the DawgNation believes he is, then UGA will be in the running for a national championship for the next few years...

Dig down deeper. Big Ten East, 30 of the 46 blue chips are OSU and PSU. Harbaugh, for all the antics and 12 months to do it, has seven. Same number as Mullen under entirely different circumstances (but an entirely better talent landscape). Pruitt got 5 under extremely challenging circumstances. Pruitt has to prove it on the field, but he pulled in one more blue chipper than Muschamp with 12 months and a bowl game. Michigan fans laughing at Ohio State whiffing on some 5*s while their highest paid coach in the land brings in those results.
