I didn't get to plant with this rain but it surely recharged the soil on the farm.
The ground is moist enough to create a nice mudball when you squeeze a chunk of dirt from about 2 inches down.
All I have to do is disc once and wait for the next round.
Also, I typically hate the beaver on the farm. They're always building dams and flooding the bottom fields. This year they did us quite a service. The bottom fields are damp and the color of chocolate.
This is gonna be sweet.
