Been after this buck for two years. Never thought I would see him considering in two years I've never gotten a single picture of him in daylight. Last morning of MZ season, just after I had decided to stay in stand just a few extra minutes, here he comes...

This buck had a very pronounced limp. I was sure he had been shot in a front leg or shoulder in the past. However, with him in hand I found out he was a survivor of the big EHD outbreak two years ago. Half of his left front hoof was sloughing off. Must have been like walking on a foot with a ripped off toenail.

It seems I saw where you mentioned that y'all either kill bucks the first week of ML or not at all. Is he an outlier or have you been seeing more bucks this year than in the past?
