Depressing Season.

Last year, March saw 80 degree temps. I hunted 9 times before April 11th and killed my limit by then. I also heard multiple birds every day. I guided and called in several for hunters the rest of the season. It was a great year, 2012, in East Tennessee.

This year, exact opposite. No green up at all (as opposed to last season when we had been mowing grass for 3 weeks by opening day).

It is very early in the turkey woods around East Tn. VERY early.

Sounds like somebody needs some cheese to go with their whine. LOL!
I'd rather have the last 2 weeks of April and first week of May than any other part of the season.

dont feel bad ive had a chance to kill 3 birds and still have a big fat 0 on the scoreboard. missed a good one called one in to 20 yrds last monday missed one saturday morning and had one hung up at 50yrds this morning. Dont feel bad

Perked up yesterday me and lil spit almost doubled twice at our trousdale farm but the farm is hit or miss they might not be there next weekend :grin:

I havent even went yet. At least you have had time to enjoy some time in the woods keep your chin up it will happen
