Daughter’s first of the year

My daughter has been my hunting partner for several years but being 17, her hunting time has slowed down. She finally got in the woods with me this afternoon and in less than an hour I heard her shoot. She called me and said that she thought she might have missed. I waited 30 min and went and looked. Perfect 100 yard shot with the 7mm-08. Deer ran about 40 yards and pilled up. Same deer that I almost shot last weekend but decided to pass. Glad I did now. Got him to the house and she went to work skinning. Glad I taught her that at a young age.
