If anyone has ever scored from this area and you have stories or pics, please post em. The deer seem to be like ghosts in this area.
TJ86, that's where I normally hunt. Had two big hogs at 25 yards opening day of rifle but they got a pass. Was too far back in and was hunting solo to mess with that.Check out around the farr gap trail. I saw some buck sign back during the October deer hunt

It was a big sow. I've hunted this area with some guys for many years and we're finally started to get the hang of where these hogs like to be. I won't give you specific spots but I can tell you what to look for! No dogs either all on footI'm sure you did! Pics?
That's a little further north than I huntin. It's steep up there - really anywhere out thereI've heard there is a place called Jeffries Hell in Citico and the name precedes it !
That rifle has some character to it. I've stomped around all up in there and it's definitely not a place to take a safe queen of a gun.

That's a good looking pig! I'd love to hear about your hunt. And yes sausage will be made!Here's one we killed last year, make sure you make plenty of sausage!! Congrats them hogs are a true mountain trophy!
