What time does the Ranger open the gate? Do you just lineup like a deer hunt, then walk over to the station and sign in? I am not sure how it wirks...A buddy of mine got drawn for this next weekend and I have never been myself, since we had the redraw..

The gate opening varies, I have been 5 times to CS, and usually it is about 30 mins before the sun starts to show. I will offer some advice, there is no reason to get in the madness and rush to get there. It is dangerous, driving with the mob down those dusty gravel roads where if you are not first in line you literally can't see 5 feet. Second, everywhere has birds, there is no reason to risk ruining a day by being in the NASCAR pack at the front. It is much more relaxing to take ones time, and be safe. JMHO.
